Il pavano e il padovano di Nane Oca
abstract
The paper explores the poetic topography of the «Pavano antico» and of the city of Pava. It depicts an ideal linguistic map of the literary geography that shapes Nane Oca’s adventures and his search for the momón. «Pavano» is the language that emerges fragmented through the narration, an archetypical mother tongue, a mental place, connected with Scabia’s own origins, but ‘trasplanted’ inside the Italian language. Onomastics and toponomastics become instruments through which it is possible to disclose «l’anima» which «consiste nelle parole».
