dc.description.abstract	In the last years, the Italian Legislator has adopted some significant measures aimed at fostering the proposition of preventive creditors’ settlement proceedings by debtors (namely, firms) that have liquidity issues or are insolvent. This analysis focuses on the possible role of such preventive arrangements with creditors (the so-called “concordato preventivo”) in solving corporate crises and, more in general, in reducing the risk of insolvency of the firms.

In the last years, the Italian Legislator has adopted some significant measures aimed at fostering the proposition of preventive creditors’ settlement proceedings by debtors (namely, firms) that have liquidity issues or are insolvent. This analysis focuses on the possible role of such preventive arrangements with creditors (the so-called “concordato preventivo”) in solving corporate crises and, more in general, in reducing the risk of insolvency of the firms.
