Abstract
In this contribution, the Author retraces Prof. Luigi Mariucci’s thought and with him builds a dialogue, starting from the most far-sighted aspects of his research. The affirmation of the neoliberal model as the only response to globalisation has in fact placed labour law before some challenges (the environmental issue, social inclusion, combating work poverty, the impact of new technologies on working time, the law applicable to labour relations with elements of transnationality), exacerbated by current legislation, but on which depend the progress and well-being of the whole society.
