Abstract
Los nueve trabajos reunidos en este libro abordan diversos aspectos del uso de la lengua española en relación con el fútbol. Cada una de las contribuciones explora, desde una perspectiva particular, un fenómeno lingüístico –la variación, la adopción o creación de léxico, los marcadores discursivos, los ritmos pragmáticos y los recursos gramaticales y discursivos–, y analiza, en el contexto geográfico y temporal en el que cada investigador desarrolla su pesquisa, las dinámicas y realidades lingüísticas que los distintos dominios comunicativos del fútbol aportan al español. Partido a partido toma el fútbol como pretexto para hablar de lengua o, probablemente, al revés.
