Corpus épigraphique des Séquanes : un état d’avancement
Abstract
The paper explains the beginning and the nature of the I-Site Sequania project (Sequania ID Making Sequania Space, Territorial Identity and Patrimonial Dynamics). The epigraphical component of this project includes the establishment of the epigraphical corpus of the ciuitas of Sequania in order to re-examine and update epigraphical data relating to the ciuitas on the one hand, and to exploit this material in order to propose an onomastic and sociological analysis that will make it possible to establish the degree of integration of the Sequanian population and the survival of a pre-Roman Sequanian identity. The paper focuses on the progress of the epigraphic component of the project.
