Abstract

This special issue is dedicated to the use of technologies aimed at the development of learner autonomy in foreign language learning. This brief editorial presents the main theoretical assumptions related to the concept of learner autonomy, highlighting the fundamental role of the teacher in facilitating students’ reflection and sense of awareness, by the means of the introduction of certain technological tool.
