Research Article | Il volgarizzamento veneziano del «Tractatus de locis terre sancte» di Francesco Pipino OP (XV sec.)
Abstract
This paper presents the critical edition of the vernacular version of Tractatus de locis terre sancte, the Latin travel chronicle to the Holy Land written by Francesco Pipino (about 1270-1330), a Dominican friar best known for his Latin translation of Devisement dou Monde. The edition is based on the codex VI 56 (6140) (Venezia, BNM), which contains the only still known copy of this vernacular version.
