Abstract

After highlighting that posted work takes some trends to extremes (including the structural casualisation of work) and is an integral part of the global processes of transformation of work and of the labour market, the text discusses the introduction of Directive 96/71/EC, presents the quantitative dimension of transnational postings, and synthetically examines the working conditions of posted workers.
