Abstract
This paper explores the role and specific features of intercultural and linguistic mediation in the context of human trafficking. It highlights the diverse profiles of mediators, including ‘peer’ mediators with lived experience, and the challenges they face across legal, healthcare, and social services. Emphasis is placed on communication, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with institutions to support and empower victims, ensure their rights, and foster social reintegration.
