Lido, località Alberoni. Il passato che riemerge

Abstract

The aim of the paper is to provide a preliminary presentation of the archaeological discovery that occurred in 2022 in Venice Lido (Alberoni), and the following activities implemented for knowledge, conservation and restitution to the general public. First of all, the events of the discovery are retraced, from the starting archaeological assistance to the final decision of a complete stratigraphic excavation of the wooden structures found. The article then illustrates the in-depth investigations carried out during and/or at the end of the archaeological dig and the project designed for the restoration and public restitution. The last paragraph is dedicated to the project work progress.
