Abstract
Questo volume, insieme al convegno che ne è stato all’origine, è frutto di un lavoro collettivo dei dottorandi del Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici dell’Università Ca’ Foscari. I contributi pubblicati sono di natura eterogenea, a livello tematico e metodologico; al lettore interessato spetterà il compito di accostare i diversi approcci per riflettere, secondo la prospettiva che preferisce, sui molti vettori di senso che si irradiano dal tema centrale, e per avanzare ipotesi, come suggerisce il titolo, su cosa possano essere i nomi: conseguenza ed emanazione degli oggetti che rappresentano, imposizioni identitarie, testimonianze insostituibili di epoche lontane, o altro ancora.
