Abstract
An analysis of the impact of the Carnation Revolution in Catalan culture from the point of view of Iberianism. The fall of fascism in Portugal caused a revolutionary and anti-colonial excitement, but also resulted in postmodern literary reinterpretations, in reactionary positions and, although at first it seemed absent, it had an impact in the revival of Iberianism both in Portugal and in Catalan culture.
