Abstract
In 2005 the archaeological excavation of Opera Pia Moro area in Oderzo found two horses burials. The sacrifice and inhumation of horses was an attested practice in pre-Roman Veneto and was frequently performed when new burial areas were sacralised or when there where changes in the burial space. This paper examines one of the tomb horses from Oderzo-Opera Pia Moro (tomb 11) and its connection with nearby mounds.
