Abstract
The essay aims to offer some considerations about the problems related to the edition of autograph manuscripts of Spanish Golden Age drama. The case study of the plays of the copyist-dramatist Francisco de Rojas and the peculiar use of accessory stage directions as opposed to structural ones in the Comedia de la huida a Egipto is presented in anticipation of its edition within the AUTESO database.
