Regulations from the Sanctuary of Amphiaraus in Oropos
Abstract
The white marble stele, found during the excavations initiated by V. Leonardos in the Oropian Amphiareion and first published in 1885, contains a series of rules regulating the presence of the priest in the iatric sanctuary, endowing him with specific legal powers, defining the powers of the neokoros and establishing the rules of access to the enkoimeterion.
