Research Article | Do Not Watch This Film by Amnesty International
Abstract
This essay has a specific purpose: to prove the functionality of the web in order to find authentic, multimedia and hypermedia materials to teach foreign languages. To this purpose, a detailed analysis of the video Do Not Watch This Filmby Amnesty International will be reported and also of the related website www.ifoundtheletter.org. Its strategic and persuasive use of negation is examined, as well as the multiple current issues emerging from these materials and the potential educational activities to be carried out in a class.
