Viaggi e visioni trasognate dell’altrove in Gianni Celati e Andrea Zanzotto

Abstract

What brings a great poet disinclined to travel and a storyteller-traveler and two of their very different texts, even for length, between them? Idea of autumn by Andrea Zanzotto and Fata Morgana by Gianni Celati establish a contact with the world that passes either for a prophetic intermittent representation: in Zanzotto the listening outweighs as a sort of absolute pitch which perceives minimum oscillations and suggests enchantments (or nightmares); in Celati prevails the view punctuated by the metrics of his walking and reveals the fallacy of illusions.
