L’era neoliberista si è caratterizzata per un radicale processo di precarizzazione strutturale del lavoro, giunto oggi a forme sempre più estreme come il lavoro gratuito. I saggi contenuti in questo volume analizzano per la prima volta in modo scientifico le cause, le forme e le conseguenze di alcune nuove frontiere della precarietà lavorativa come il lavoro degli studenti universitari, gli stage, i tirocini. Lo fanno con uno sguardo che spazia sull’intero continente europeo e si focalizza sull’Italia, fornendo spunti sulla dimensione mondiale di questi processi.
