Abstract
This article aims to outline the main features of the work and life of contemporary writer Valeria Luiselli. She’s a Mexican who, like many others, belongs to the great Hispanic community residing in the United States of America and that belongs to a generation of writers that George Steiner would define as ‘extraterritorial’. Her wandering and living in different places led her to be interested in topics such as exile, migration and bilingualism.
