Abstract
This chapter investigates Bakhtiari’s novel as a social satire of Swedish multiculturalism. Through multilingual dialogues rendered through specific, multilingual strategies and hybrid voices, it exposes the tensions between integration, otherness, and generational identity in Malmö.
