The Narrative Style of an Anti-Clerical Pope

Abstract

The article explores Pope Francis’s speech on clericalism, aiming to analyse the key concepts associated with this term. The author hypothesises that Pope Francis uses this issue as an effective communication tool to promote the idea that change in the Church’s structure is not only possible but also necessary.
