Research Article | The Use of Natural Elements in Rituals Related to Theurgy
Abstract
In the theurgic rituals attested by the Chaldean Oracles and other writings related to Neoplatonism plants, animals and stones were often used to evoke a certain divinity. The theurgic vis of these practices results also from other works, which allow us to know a wide range of traditions that influence each other.
