Abstract
The study focuses on some examples of travel literature of the second half of the twentieth century in Argentina. The objects of analysis are the story Si esto es la vida, yo soy Caperucita Roja (1993) by Luisa Valenzuela (1938), the short novel Un episodio en la vida de un pintor viajero (1995) by César Aira (1949) and the novel La Tierra del fuego (1998) by Sylvia Iparraguirre (1947).
