Abstract
Some migrant writers coming from the former Yugoslavia and Albania with the war that bloodied the Balkans from 1991 to 1999 and brought, in addition to the disintegration of Yugoslavia, a considerable amount of brutality, violence and death. The selected works want just to be a representative sample of texts written in Italian by migrant writers of the Balkans, thus they are not exhaustive: the aim of this intervention is to provide an account of the situation related to the Italian literature of migration.
