abstract

In 1913 at Bevilacqua La Masa’s exhibition there were very few students coming from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. For example, the sculptors Paolo Boldrin and Giovanni Possamai were among the students registered in the academic years 1912-1913 and 1913-1914. In that year Vincenzo Cobianco, Mario Disertori, Roberto Baldessari, Giovanni Giuliani and Giovanni Pasinetti were prominent students too. Giovanni Pasinetti was one of the few exposing at Bevilacqua’s. In that 1913, after forty years, the School of Engraving opened again. The School had among its students the aforementioned Giovanni Giuliani, Roberto Baldessari, Giovanni Pasinetti and an unusual name, Ferdinando Forlati, engineer and art restorer architect of the Superintendence of the monuments in the Veneto region.
