Le mostre di Ca’ Pesaro e la scultura a Venezia nel primo dopoguerra
abstract
This essay analyses the presence of sculptures at the exhibitions held at Ca’ Pesaro palace in 1919 and 1920. Studying works of art created by artists of the calibre of Arturo Martini and Napoleone Martinuzzi, a style or a general inclination can be identified, because otherwise very few documents certify that moment. In conclusion, a comparison is carried out between ancient and classical suggestions and monumental sculptures made by Martini and Martinuzzi in the 20s.
