Abstract
This article reviews a recent volume by C. George Peale and Elisa Domínguez de Paz. The volume contains a study and critical edition of two comedies by Vélez de Guevara: El más amante pastor y dichoso patriarca and La adversa y próspera suerte de Josef. In addition to the review, the article provides a few notes that address certain aspects of the edited plays to enrich the exegesis of the dramas.
