Abstract
This chapter explains the collaboration with the Visual Geometry Group in Oxford (2019-present) and the creation of the Lyon 16ci database for the automatic retrieval of similar images. It presents the methodology utilized to visualize, search, and compare similar images, discussing the future perspectives of these tools in the wider context of digital art historical research.
