Research Article | Languages and Jobs: Communication and Language Teaching Theories
Abstract
The essay claims that International economy and trade were among the relevant factors which caused - since classical times - the shift from intuitive language teaching methodologies to more rigorous and scientifically-based approaches. Some examples concerning the language of some jobs and professions are provided.
