Abstract

The posting of workers within a provision of services is an issue which can be analysed also from a labour inspection perspective. Indeed, there are many implications caused by sending a worker, who habitually works elsewhere, to a different Member State of EU, such as languages gaps, different labour laws and above all labour inspection practices which are not similar. In this scenario, the recently established European Labour Authority could be a very useful tool to improve administrative cooperation between ‘sending’ and ‘receiving’ States, organizing and doing concerted and joint labour inspections.
