La vida es sueño en manos de Orazio Costa (Teatro Stabile de Palermo, 1988)
Abstract
In 1988 Orazio Costa staged Calderon’s La vida es sueño translated by Enrica Cancelliere at the Teatro Stabile in Palermo. The script for this show is preserved in the Orazio Costa collection of the Teatro della Pergola in Florence and it has not been studied so far. This essay analyzes the most relevant aspects of this staging and the great importance of the text in the educational project of this famous director.
