Abstract
This collective volume is truly miscellaneous. It is one of the results of the PRIN (Progetti di Rilevante Interesse Nazionale) research project, Transmedialità: media, scienza, generi, arti nella poesia panispanica (1980-2022) / Transmediality: Media, Science, Genres, and Arts in Pan-Hispanic Poetry (1980-2022), which was carried out in collaboration with colleagues from various Italian universities, including Bergamo, Padova, la Statale di Milano, Roma Tor Vergata, and Ca’ Foscari. The project’s objective is to analyse new poetic textualities in the Pan-Hispanic sphere. This collection brings together a selection of diverse texts linked by a common reflection on intermediality. This heterogeneous yet valuable sample displays the metapoétic perspectives and practices of Spanish, Latin American, and Portuguese-speaking writers. These writers address issues related to poetic language, its inter- and transmedia adaptations, and its hybridizations and mutations within the context of the millennium’s turn and the ‘digital shift’, as well as in relation to performance, music, and other arts.
