Approccio scientifico allo studio e alla conservazione dei dipinti murali contemporanei all’aperto in diversi contesti climatico-ambientali
Abstract
This work shows the advances in defining a method for the assessment of the state of conservation of outdoor contemporary mural paintings, in Italian Painted Villages; evaluating the efficacy and durability of conservative interventions, where present; assessing the impact of climatic and environmental parameters and of their fluctuations on the artworks. The tools used are, respectively, Art-Risk 1, non-invasive or micro-invasive analyses, satellite data (through Art-Risk 5) and data from meteorological ground stations. This investigation is significant both for the artworks, and for the effects it may have on the communities involved.
