Interventi di cura conservativa nei dipinti murali contemporanei di Štěpán Zavřel della piazza di Sarmede
Abstract
This paper presents the conservation project of Štěpán Zavřel’s murals Venice and The Children’s Bridge in Sarmede, emphasizing the role of preventive conservation in safeguarding contemporary mural heritage. Diagnostic investigations revealed the use of polymer-based binders and the critical impact of environmental factors, accelerating degradation. The study highlights the importance of preventive conservation and multidisciplinary collaboration as sustainable tools for preserving cultural assets and fostering local cultural development.
