Traduction et genèse de la création théâtrale
L’hétérolinguisme comme embrayeur de théâtralité chez Giorgio Strehler
Abstract
Used as a framework to analyze translation in Giorgio Strehler's Le Médecin volant and The Tempest, heterolingualism reveals tensions between published editions and stage versions. Stage translation can amplify original diversity or reveal latent plurality through dialectal redefining. While The Tempest relies on archival variants, Le Médecin volant integrates stage markers, as translation and staging are consubstantial. As a genetic translation marker in manuscripts, heterolingualism defines theatre translation as a textual matrix and an intermediate genetic object, positioning archival manuscripts as a vantage point to observe theatre translation.
